Microsoft have made the following beta (express versions) available for download from http://lab.msdn.microsoft.com/express/
- Visual Basic 2005
- Visual C# 2005
- Visual C++ 2005
- Visual J# 2005
- Visual Web Developer 2005 (includes asp.net 2.0)
- SQL Server 2005
These are the first public beta's of .net 2.0 so are very definately worth checking out if you haven't used .net 2.0 yet. And even if you have, there are some interesting things here such as the Personal Web Started Kit (http://lab.msdn.microsoft.com/express/vwd/starterkit/default.aspx) and SQL Server 2005 Express Edition (http://lab.msdn.microsoft.com/express/sql/default.aspx)
